My recommended "Health Tech" is a Vibroacoustic device which is a state-of-the-art piece of equipment that uses sound vibrations to activate a healing response in the physical body from stress, emotional trauma and physical injuries.
It’s not just for the body and physical healing —the vibrations also create a relaxation response in the body and mind, reducing emotional and physical stress.
Vibroacoustic therapy is perfect for the beginner meditator, or the one who says "I can't meditate". The steady vibration gives your mind something to focus on, making it easier to let go of racing thoughts. If traditional meditation feels hard, this is a simple place to start! My APPROACH
I teach insight meditation which practices tuning into your subtle awareness. These subtle changes, such as of your breath, physical sensations, or thoughts and emotions are all leading you to a path away from suffering. That is, if we are listening.
Without being attached, emotionally triggered by, or judging the sensation - insight meditation asks you to sit with the experience, get to know it. Question it. That's when you choose to keep living with the experience - or maybe you can let it drift by.
To be truly aware can be empowering. It can also be scary to truly see, for the first time, your present reality. I work with trauma-informed mindfulness which helps you to find harmony amidst the disharmony. ​​
